Your Mind is A City
Your Mind is A City
The streets, freeways, and public transportation connect all of your thoughts and ideas. Some of those well-meaning thoughts take public transportation from one idea to the next. The more brilliant ideas have limousines pick them up and drop them off in the most elegant and grandest of buildings. There’s someone there to open the door for your ideas and hold an umbrella over your head in case it’s raining. The brilliant ideas are escorted along a red and golden carpet into a sanctuary, where brilliant ideas love to congregate with the like-minded.
Some thoughts and ideas migrate to the bad side of the city, kind of unfortunate; it’s difficult for them to get beyond negative contemplations. If that negative pondering is not overcome with positive and wholesome expectations, then those thoughts and ideas will run into an open manhole and fall into a stinky water abyss. Never to be seen again in the pragmatic sense. You know it could happen, and often does.
The bigger the city, the more crowded it is. The bigger your thoughts and ideas become there’s a greater opportunity for them to be lost, or worse yet, become wrangled by other opportunistic thoughts and ideas. The notorious thinkers are amazingly skilled at infringing on well formed brain waves of inspiration. The telepathy between one brain to another, although not very well understood, happens to be real. Keep your brilliantly cool thoughts and ideas to yourself. There are pirates and robbers, metaphysically moving through space and time just waiting to snatch them from your coveted thoughts and ideas.
The Mind City
A very congested place that can easily be overwhelmed. Alarm systems and ever watchful and well-trained security guards are a must. Ever watchful is the key to keeping thoughts and ideas even-keeled and uncluttered. Protect them from outside, unproductive thoughts and ideas that want to haunt and preoccupy your mind, killing genuine and honest productivity, creative and otherwise, in life sustaining inner clear headedness.
Next time you walk through a city, look at all of the distractions that are bombarding your thoughts and ideas. Your mind will be filled to the brim with various forms of energy entering your mind through your five senses. It takes a great deal of inner and outer strength to process all that stimuli. Some people are better than others at processing in such a fashion that it’s not internally disruptive.
The City Within
The city where we all spend our lives defines our reality to be happy or sad. It simply gets down to the thoughts and ideas we focus on. Don’t let others litter your wholesome thoughts and ideas.
