I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I am a longtime lover and admirer of the western genre. I go out of my way to find and watch a classic western movie. In fact it’s Friday afternoon and I think I will find one to watch. I hope more people especially younger people acquaint themselves with this facet of American history and how it has impacted many millions of people around the world. Everybody loves a cowboy, country music is as popular as ever. I think if you grew up in the southwest like I did you always feel like there’s a little bit a cowboy in you, after all like this song goes “ My heroes have always been Cowboys” oh, and of course Cowgirls in in fact I married one. I’m really looking forward to reading more from this author, apparently he has written several western books. As long as there is open range, honky-tonks, rodeos and round ups in the sky there will always be us country folks that love the extremely lovable western life and those wonderful people that were lucky enough to live through that era. “Can’t wait for another exciting adventurer, or should I say post.
