I especially like your concept of rule number one. I believe our brains in close association with various muses feed us thoughts and ideas that writers should act on. In many ways Hemingway has become the quintessential muse for many a starting/starving writer. I appreciate your insightful take on writing especially because it looks like you have a long history of success and obviously know what you’re talking about.
