Her Soul Was Born In Nature
Her Soul Was Born In Nature

A most revealing place to be during a communion with nature is by a pond. No pond? Any body of water can work to a degree, but there's something special about a small pond of water. Nature is vast but surprisingly intimate when it comes to communicating spirituality to both the animals of the world and man alike. We are kindred spirits at birth to all that is nature.
The self-inflicted wrath we feel and our perpetual desires to share our ire, especially when every form of cheerfulness becomes doleful, is when we need a pond toot sweet. This was the case for a young woman named Urania.
Less than a handful of years ago, Urania was bedeviled by what she described as her very soul went missing. How does one lose their soul? Well in Urania’s case it was a frightfully windy day, one of those that was not only bone chillingly cold, but the whistling and shrieking pitch of the gale like gusts was insulting to her ears. The wind's energy was spectral and unearthly it was completely soulless. Every step Urania submitted to, felt to her like the internal essence of her being was being drained out and absorbed by the earth beneath her feet.
What saved Urania from being swallowed up by the dark side, can only be described as being taken by the devilish demons that once they discover a weakness in our soul are quick to latch on. In Urania's years of life she was never deceitful to herself or to others. She certainly had her human faults and vulnerabilities, but none of those were so deeply rooted that they would cause an internal tampering with her soul. By her own admittance she was not perfect, but she was committed to elevating herself and all those she came in contact with.
A simple innocent early morning pond became Urania's salvation if you will. As she walked in the wind she saw a path like opening in the woods. Thinking the densely forested area would provide a sanctuary from the aberrant wind, she went in. The path was amazingly well maintained and in a few dozen yards she came upon a small body of water. It was calm and peaceful, there was no apparent demonic wind to be heard or felt. Just standing there by the water's edge changed everything inside Urania.
Her soul was born in nature. There was a mist hovering over the pond that created a natural fogginess that seemed to engender calmness. Urania after visually taking it all in decided to take off her shoes and walk into the water. She felt that after all the draining of her soul seemed to be flushing out of her feet. She thought maybe walking into the calming pond would replenish her. She was right. Standing there in the little more than ankle deep water changed everything. Her spiritual energy flooded her thoughts, which in turn became a conscious soul reawakening.
Never let the anxieties of life rob you of your ability to have a communion with nature. What exactly is a communion with nature? Most everyone is gifted at birth with five senses. Each and every one of those have the uncanny ability to connect with the spiritually guiding force of all that exists in the universe to the smallest element so far discovered in science. Nature, sometimes enduringly referred to as Mother Nature has given birth to everything known and unknown. Its very existence is proof of a higher power that is capable of creating all life in the heavens and on earth.
When you feel overwhelmed and distraught, seek a communion with nature. You will discover that you are being nurtured back into a healthy mind and a healthy body. Nature is always in motion, but understand nature always has time for you and I when we need her most. Your internal and external thoughts can sometimes betray happiness. Take a walk in nature, if you're lucky enough to find a pond like Urania, take off your shoes, wade in. Let your soul like Urania’s be born in nature.
